MSM String Quartet

MSM String Quartet is made up of graduates of the Maastricht Conservatory of Music. At its inception in 2016, MSM (Maastricht Society of Music) was created as an association of students of the conservatory, with the aim of promoting musical career opportunities for its members, having performed more than 500 concerts throughout Europe to date.
In 2018 the group is established as a string quartet to focus on its development as a consolidated ensemble, having received training from renowned musicians, some of them members of internationally renowned ensembles such as Glinka Quartet, Hagen Quartet or Cuarteto Casals, among others.
In 2019, the ensemble has been awarded a grant for the creation of social and cultural events in Maastricht, aimed at programming classical music concerts for local audiences.
In 2022, MSM String Quartet wins the second prize “Grand Prix du Public” at the Maastricht Awards of Music.
